The Champion Campground will be on a first come first served basis from Thursday June 29th to Monday July 3rd. No reservations will be taken.
The Boil Water Advisory for the Village of Champion has been lifted.
Thank you everyone for your patience.
Champion is pleased to begin subdivision work on the new Industrial Park that will be located south east of 3rd Ave S and 1st St. The area was originally zoned industrial in 2009. The Industrial Park will be home to the new Champion Fire Hall coming in the summer of 2017, and 11 additional commercial lots. The funding to extend water and sanitary lines as well as road work is 100% covered by a provincial capital grant. The downstream future benefits of commercial taxation will continue the long term sustainability of Champion. The Industrial Park also features an extended green space along 3rd Ave S to allow for the quiet enjoyment of residents of that road.

After 10 years of hard work Champion is the winner of the Provincial CIB award for the under 500 population category. The Communities in Bloom program is an international program sponsored through Recreation & Parks.
